Hi chaps!

In these last few days I finally got the chance to take a couple of spherical HDR panos. :D

This evening I stitched one I made in a corridor of an abandoned building and it came out great! The walls of the whole building were covered with beautiful graffiti but when I entered this corridor I just knew I had to take a pano... the colours were great and the two holes on the roof with the tiles collapsed on the ground made it a perfect spot.

The place was once an mental-health asylum but when the law luckily forced them to shut it down it became abandoned and the municipality, to avoid them to decay and completely fall apart, decided to put the safest structures at disposal for a lot of cultural/social activities. This was the occasion for some young artists to try out graffiti art and eventually to be the ones to teach  it to all others who wanted to try. But then the buildings were inevitably shut down once again as they no longer complied with the  new laws for safety and the group of graffiti artists had to change headquartes to a few rooms in a small edifice.

Tomorrow I'm gonna upload it on the ArtStation Markeplace and in the meanwhile here's a sneak peek:

I took it a week ago in a street that takes to Fiesole. Nothing too special about the location but I kinda liked the grey light and the nice stone wall. Also I realized I didn't have any street panos so this one was a good chance.

Hi everybody!

I'm finally back with an HDRi on the Artstation MarketPlace. I wanted to post it before but a thing or another I didn't... so happy I finally did!

Here it is.

This one I took it at the end of August in a group of very ruined rural buildings. The room I chose  was my favourite as both the upper floor and the roof had collapsed and even two trees had been able to grow as well as a lot of ivy, also I liked the machinery on the wall. It surely was a stable, probably for cattle.

Anyway it was dusk and the walls covered almost all the last rays of light, I didn't thought the result was going to be so awesome. I did some test renders in Marmoset using my Oliver model trying some different brightness for the HDRi and I really loved it!

Hi all!

Today's a big day! It's been a while that I've been thinking to upload some of my 360°x180° HDR Panoramas on the ArtStation Marketplace and today I finally did! So the first one is available here and more are coming (very soon, I hope!)

Lately I'm becoming quite obsessed with abandoned places, they just have something special... some strange force frozen in time. And of course they're also the best locations ever and the light is always great so I just couldn't take some spherical HDRIs for lighting my models! But they were just too nice and well done not to share them!  So here's one that I took in an ex sugar factory in Italy, it's probably one of my favorite places I've explored so far. I really loved the high windows, typical of industrial buildings, the broken ceiling, and the vegetation growing outside and on the floor that gave a nice greenish light opposed to the red of the bricks and rusty metal.
