From Lily's diary:
“23 may 2072 - 07.11.09 p.m. - Planet Earth
We haven't changed. We just kept on destroying, as if there would be no consequences. But of course there were... it started with the quakes, then the bees, rivers and lakes dried, wars and riots, no trees left, the air itself became toxic.
We're just fleeing to another planet. There's no life there, we'll take seeds and bacteria with us, a life starting kit. We'll control it, we'll let only the useful-not dangerous things grow. Everything will be under our control. No chaos, no chances.
But that's not really life, is it?
That's why I'm staying back. Yesterday I stole one of the “life ball”. I'm planting it again here on our planet. Accordingly to the computer life won't be possible on Earth for at least some centuries, not after the last accident. But life always finds a way. An unpredictable hidden way...”
